Adult Tennis Classes in Dania Beach, FL
Group tennis classes for adults, from a first swing to a competitive level, across our three Dania Beach parks — a short drive from Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood and Davie. NOVA Tennis Academy has coached adults here since 2023, with our sectional champion coaches on court.
Who these classes are for
Adult classes are open to Ages 13+ — from a complete beginner who has never held a racket to a returning player working on a competitive level. Classes are grouped by level, not age, so you're rallying with players working on the same things you are.
What a class looks like
Each class is an hour on court with a small group at your level, run by the same coach week to week. Expect footwork and stroke work early in the session and live points by the end of it — every level plays, not just drills. There's no subscription required to try one: pay $32 per class and come whenever a class fits your week.
Levels we teach
- New Beginnings — for players starting from zero or close to it.
- Advance Beginner — comfortable rallying, working on consistency and rules of play.
- Intermediate — consistent strokes, ready for strategy, spin and match play.

Frequently asked questions
- Is there a free trial class for adults?
- The free first class is for children's programs. Adults pay per class or apply for a plan — $32 per class to try one with no subscription.
- I've never played tennis. Can I still join?
- Yes — New Beginnings is built for exactly that. Tell us when you apply and we'll place you in the right group.
- Do I need my own racket?
- Bring one if you have it; if not, let us know and we'll have one ready for your first class.
- Do you offer adult tennis lessons near Fort Lauderdale or Hollywood, FL?
- Yes. Our courts are in Dania Beach, minutes from Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood and Davie, and many of our adult players come from all three.
- What if group classes don't fit my schedule?
- Private and semi-private lessons are booked one-on-one at a time that works for you — see private lessons.
